Alternative Choices is now also on FACEBOOK.
We will finally be offering live time with professionals in our parent resource center. Beginning on October 1, 2009 you can stop by our office on Thursday mornings from 10am-noon for coffee/tea and chat with Alternative Choices professionals about your questions or concerns, meet and talk with other parents, search topics on our pc, etc. We recommend coming without children so that you can interact and talk with others more freely. You can also read our movie review on the new movie, "Adam". The review was written by Kate Altman - an advanced PsyD student from Chestnut Hill College who will be working with us this year for her clinical practicum. Under this heading you can also find a brief update on our practice and activities.

Services for Children - Experienced child therapists at Alternative Choices utilize cognitive behavioral approaches along with age appropriate art, movement and other treatment strategies to work with children of all ages, beginning at age 2. Individual play-based therapies and specialized groups are offered. Group Programs - We offer group work on specific issues from time to time in addition to our on-going specialized treatment groups for children and teens. Local and National Conferences - Find out when and where Dr. Robert Naseef, co-founder of Alternative Choices and Director of our Special Family Resources will be presenting on topics helpful for parents and/or professionals.
Articles related to various mental health and educational issues - You can read various articles related to mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and special needs.
